Dipu's final semester of a computer science degree in Gazipur
A first-generation student, Dipu needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a computer science degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a computer science degree at the Gazipur Institute of Technology, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Gazipur Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $600 goes:
• Final term tuition: $420
• Textbooks and materials: $50
• Outstanding tuition balance: $130

hope things get better soon, Dipu. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro.
Take care. Study hard! I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
