Help Wichai stay in his own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my father, who's 89. After worsening Parkinson's disease Wichai can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Wichai desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Wichai worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $100
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $140
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,210

How is Wichai doing now?
Sending good thoughts, Saowaluk. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wichai.
Sure. The biggest one is medication and prescriptions, $100. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
