Delilah needs clippers, chairs and mirrors to reopen a barbershop
Delilah lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $2,150 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For three years I have run a barbershop in Durham. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Initial stock: supplies: $470
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $1,050
• Working capital for the first month: $630
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending good thoughts. Small businesses are the heart of Durham. Hope you're open again soon. After 17 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Bergamo
