Da-eun's final semester of a degree in civil engineering in Seoul
A first-generation student, Da-eun needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in civil engineering at Seoul Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $950.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $950 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $760
• Exam and lab fees: $95
• Textbooks and materials: $95
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Keep going, Da-eun. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Dwarka.
good luck, Da-eun. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. After 22 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
You're not alone, Da-eun. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending strength, Da-eun. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
sending good thoughts, Da-eun. This could happen to any of us. Blessings
Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Kano.
