Could you foster Rosie? Sita is going into treatment

A short-term foster for a calm terrier mix in Dallas while the owner recovers.

I'm going into inpatient treatment on Saturday, for about 3 weeks, and I have no family nearby to look after Rosie, my eleven-year-old terrier mix. Rosie is a lap-cat who needs a quiet home. I'm looking for a temporary foster within Dallas. I'll provide food, bedding and medication, and cover the vet costs. Rosie is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. I'd love to share regular updates and photos, and I'd love to pay it forward by volunteering at the shelter when I'm better. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending strength, Sita. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 18 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

            • Sending strength, Sita. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 16 people at work. Blessings
