Companionship wanted: Waylon's opera and a cup of tea
Looking for a friendly person in Brampton to visit Waylon once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Waylon, who's 90. Waylon lives alone in Brampton, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Waylon loves opera, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hang in there, Nolan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Please keep us posted.
so sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Hang in there, Nolan. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Southampton.
So sorry you're going through this, Nolan. Wishing Waylon a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Thinking of Brampton
Keep going, Nolan. Hope this works out for you. Love from Surakarta.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Sacramento
