Independence for Yuni: powered wheelchair
A powered wheelchair would give Yuni independence - we're $100 away.
🇮🇩 Indonesia725 views
Yuni lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Bogor Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Yuni could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $40
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone, Dinda. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
