Companionship wanted: Bilal's cricket and a cup of tea

I'm writing for my neighbor Bilal, who's 80. Bilal lives alone in Heliopolis, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives 844 kilometers away. Bilal loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
