Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Hyun-woo
Help Hyun-woo regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇰🇷 Mapo, Seoul, South Korea82 views
Hyun-woo has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Hyun-woo can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Hyun-woo's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thank you so much.

So sorry you're going through this. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Take care
