Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Faith
Help Faith regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇺🇸 Texas, United States1,040 views
Faith has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Faith can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Faith's family will cook lunch for the team.
Glad we found this place.

Sending love. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Hamilton
Thanks for sharing this. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Zapopan.
Wishing you the best, Genesis. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of El Paso
take care. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Dehiwala but we're thinking of you. Thinking of El Paso.
you're not alone. Wishing Faith a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
