Help Nilesh restart a phone repair counter in Chennai after floodwater
Nilesh lost a soldering station and testing tools to floodwater and needs $250 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Chennai. In June, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $95
Thanks for reading all this.

Keep going, Nilesh. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We're a small family in Bengaluru but we're thinking of you.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nilesh!
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. shop repairs and licensing comes first ($45) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
Sending good thoughts, Nilesh. Hope you make a strong comeback. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
Stay strong. Shared this with my family. Don't give up. Thinking of Chennai.
