Dolores's final semester of a computer science degree in Girona
Dolores is two terms away from finishing a computer science degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,800.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a computer science degree at Girona Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,800.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Girona Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $60
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,550
• Textbooks and materials: $190
Glad we found this place.

Good luck, Dolores. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Girona.
Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Siliguri.
You're not alone, Dolores. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Kyiv.
