Care for Waylon, 74: help cover a carer and medication in Rochester
Waylon cannot afford the care He needs after a fall and hip fracture; we are asking for $4,350.

I'm caring for my father, who's 74. After a fall and hip fracture Waylon can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Waylon desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Waylon worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $4,350 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $470
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $430
• Part-time carer (three months): $3,450
