I'm caring for me, who's 82. After a stroke last April Tejal can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tejal desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Tejal worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $550 goes:

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. part-time carer (three months) comes first ($370) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
