Emery's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
Emery is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Emery was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in December. The oncology team at London University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Emery is 44, worked as a construction supervisor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to London University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $7,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,950
• Scans and lab work: $900
• Transport to London University Hospital: $840
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $680
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,630

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Emery.
Chemotherapy and medication not covered is $2,950 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
