Waylon is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Ottawa University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,750. The registrar has said Waylon can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Waylon has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Waylon would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Waylon isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $3,750 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,750 • Final term tuition: $1,650 • Exam and lab fees: $70 • Textbooks and materials: $280 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
