Care for Si-woo, 83: help cover a carer and medication in Seoul
Si-woo, 83, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,850 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 83. After a diagnosis of dementia Si-woo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Si-woo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Si-woo worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $3,850 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $2,900
• Medication and prescriptions: $220
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $300
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $430

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Si-woo.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. part-time carer (three months) is the biggest at $2,900. Happy to explain more.
