Care for Nneka, 84: help cover a carer and medication in Kaduna
Nneka, 84, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $200 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 84. After a stroke last March Nneka can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nneka desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Nneka worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $200 goes:

• Medication and prescriptions: $80
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $70

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nneka.
Sure. The biggest one is hospital bed and mattress rental, $50. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Appreciate you taking the time.
