Care for Maciej, 79: help cover a carer and medication in Warsaw
Maciej can't afford the care He needs after a fall and hip fracture; we're asking for $2,450.

I'm caring for my father, who's 79. After a fall and hip fracture Maciej can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Maciej desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Maciej worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $2,000
• Medication and prescriptions: $160
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $125
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $165
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you, Józef. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Warsaw.
Hang in there, Józef. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care!
