Alka's cervical cancer treatment fund

Alka was diagnosed with cervical cancer in November. The oncology team at Thane University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Alka is 55, worked as a taxi driver until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Thane University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
