Columbus
Brooks is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Columbus University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,800. The registrar has said Brooks can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Brooks has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Brooks would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Brooks isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Columbus University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $5,800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,800 • Final term tuition: $3,700 • Exam and lab fees: $155 • Textbooks and materials: $145 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Elena
