Fort Worth
Jacob earned a place in Year 11 at Fort Worth Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,250, which is more than they have. Jacob loves mathematics and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $1,250 goes: • Laptop: $730 • School uniform and shoes: $195 • Textbooks and workbooks: $240 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $85 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Delilah

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 29% funded and we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. - Delilah

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($349 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Update from Fort Worth: I made the first payment toward laptop. We're at 8% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
