I make my living with my motorbike. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $305. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $305 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $230
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $5
I hope life is good to you.

So sorry you're going through this, Bilal. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Machakos.
Rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care.
You're not alone, Bilal. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
