Bappy needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
A laundry service in Khulna needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇧🇩 Khulna, Bangladesh887 views
For twelve years I have run a laundry service in Khulna. In October, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $110
• Working capital for the first month: $45
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this, Bappy. Hope the shop reopens soon. God bless!
Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Salerno donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
