Musyoka can't leave home - help build a ramp
Musyoka uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Musyoka has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Musyoka can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Musyoka's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 13 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Hamburg so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Nairobi
