Baobab Primary School needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Ngozi's neighborhood project
A community-led a sensory garden for children with autism at Baobab Primary School that will serve 156 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 156 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $195
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
