Jaxon has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Jaxon can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Jaxon's family will cook lunch for the team. I hope life is good to you.

  • Sending strength. Shared it with a few friends. After 15 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.

    • Thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Oakland.

      • I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Leeds.
