Baobab Park needs a rainwater harvesting system - Alok's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Nizamabad are raising $350 for a rainwater harvesting system at Baobab Park.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 312 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $270
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $10
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
