Back to business - Zahra's comeback in Rome
Zahra lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a long illness and repossession and needs $2,500 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in Rome. In August, a long illness and repossession took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $1,350
• Initial stock: supplies: $490
• Shop repairs and licensing: $450
• Working capital for the first month: $210
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Rome
Sending strength, Zahra. Shared this with my family. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
