Emergency vet bill for Pepper in Montréal
A senior cat named Pepper needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,700 bill the family can't cover.

Pepper is my senior cat of two years. On 5 May we rushed to Montréal Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,700.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper got me through my hardest year. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Montréal Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $2,000
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $230
• Medication and follow-up visits: $85
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $385
