Back to business - Wichai's comeback in Bang Khen
A fish stall in Bang Khen needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a storm that collapsed the roof.
Anywhere in the world811 views
For six years I have run a fish stall in Bang Khen. In June, a storm that collapsed the roof took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $290
• Initial stock: the first catch: $115
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Working capital for the first month: $50
I hope life is good to you.
Updates from Wichai
Good news. Because of your gifts ($370 in total) I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Wichai

Best of luck, Wichai. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
Good luck. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out.
