Winter coats and boots for 18 children at Acacia Refugee Centre in Oaxaca de Juárez

I coordinate donations at Acacia Refugee Centre in Oaxaca de Juárez. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Oaxaca de Juárez, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Refugee Centre on Sunday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
