Back to business - Pedro's comeback in Fresno
Pedro has run a street-food cart for six years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $3,900 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a street-food cart in Fresno. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,900 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $2,600
• Initial stock: ingredients: $490
• Shop repairs and licensing: $410
• Working capital for the first month: $400
Thanks for reading all this.

Take care, Pedro. Small businesses are the heart of Fresno. Hope you're open again soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless!
