Back to business - Mykola's comeback in Saint Petersburg
A street-food cart in Saint Petersburg needs help replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators after floodwater.
Anywhere in the world1,469 views
For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Saint Petersburg. In April, floodwater took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $150
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $820
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there. Hope the shop reopens soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
good luck, Mykola. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Wishing you peace, Mykola. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My neighbor in Geelong donated after I showed her your page. Take care!
