Help Yvonne restart a tailoring shop in Takoradi after a storm that collapsed the roof
Yvonne has run a tailoring shop for fifteen years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $700 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a tailoring shop in Takoradi. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $420
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $105
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
• Working capital for the first month: $70
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
Updates from Yvonne
Thank you all. We're at 61% now ($425). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 49% funded and I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
