Back to business - Evelyn's comeback in Phoenix
Evelyn lost a cutting table and overlocker to a break-in and needs $4,250 to reopen a sewing studio and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a sewing studio in Phoenix. In July, a break-in took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $2,950
• Initial stock: fabric: $310
• Shop repairs and licensing: $380
• Working capital for the first month: $610
Every share and every dollar helps.

hope things get better soon, Evelyn. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
Keep going, Evelyn. Small businesses are the heart of Phoenix. Hope you're open again soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Southampton.
Wishing you peace, Evelyn. Hope this works out for you. Love from Mumbai
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
