Back to business - Aurora's comeback in El Paso
Aurora lost three industrial sewing machines to the demolition of the market and needs $1,550 to reopen a tailoring shop and support the family.

For six years I have run a tailoring shop in El Paso. In July, the demolition of the market took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $310
• Shop repairs and licensing: $550
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $690
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Take care, Aurora. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of El Paso
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up
Rooting for you. Hope this works out for you. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
