Since a sudden redundancy in August, I'm now raising a toddler and a seven-year-old on my own. I work as a hairdresser, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a dental nurse in the evenings, which will triple my income by November, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.

Thank you all. We're at 19% now ($141). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward childcare and after-school care.
Small update. $266 so far, I met with the landlord and confirmed the amounts.
Quick update: $55 raised so far (7%). the plan for childcare and after-school care is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
