The electricity account is 3 months behind. Kimani received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $150 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in August. Kimani called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
