Auma needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Eldoret
Auma drives for a living in Eldoret, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $145
• Labor charges: $35
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $60
• Towing and inspection: $10

Wishing you peace, Auma. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 16 years in farming I know how hard it is to ask for anything. All the best.
Praying for you, Auma. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 12 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Pattaya.
thanks for sharing this, Auma. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Salem so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Eldoret.
