I make my living with my food truck. 10 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,200 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $830 • Towing and inspection: $120 • Labor charges: $250 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Aubree

Updates from Aubree

  1. Update from San Diego: I made the first payment toward towing and inspection. We're at 57% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 41% now ($494). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward labor charges.

  3. Quick update: $75 raised so far (6%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
