Araceli wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Araceli can't afford the care She needs after a stroke last March; we're asking for $1,700.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 91. After a stroke last March Araceli can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Araceli desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Araceli worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $155
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,350
• Medication and prescriptions: $195
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope things get better soon, Adrián. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
sending good thoughts, Adrián. Wishing Araceli a smooth procedure and a full recovery
You're not alone, Adrián. Looking forward to the next update. After 22 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Ciudad de México
Keep going, Adrián. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
