Anand needs my delivery van repaired to get back to work in Mumbai
Anand drives for a living in Mumbai, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 12 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $300 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $195
• Labor charges: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $20
• Towing and inspection: $40
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there, Anand. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Los Angeles donated after I showed her your page.
hope this works out for you. After 11 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Mumbai
