Alberto lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Bogotá Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,950. His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Alberto could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,950 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $75 • adapted tricycle: $1,800 • Fitting and training sessions: $75 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
