Alexandre's kidney cancer treatment fund
Alexandre is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Alexandre was diagnosed with kidney cancer in October. The oncology team at Campinas Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Alexandre is 45, worked as a tailor until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Campinas Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,250
