Aishwarya's final semester of a teaching qualification in Mysuru
Aishwarya has worked and saved for four years to study a teaching qualification; a $1,000 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a teaching qualification at the Mysuru Institute of Technology, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,000.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $500
• Final term tuition: $420
• Exam and lab fees: $50
• Textbooks and materials: $30
Glad we found this place.

Rooting for you, Aishwarya. This could happen to any of us. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Rooting for you, Aishwarya. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
