A youth football pitch for the Freedom community hall: help our neighbors in Mumbai
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Freedom community hall that will serve 445 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 445 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $250
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
