A youth football pitch for Sycamore Primary School: help our neighbors in Bucaramanga

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $260, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 466 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $550 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $125 • Materials: $310 • Safety equipment and signage: $115 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Guadalupe
