A youth football pitch for Cedar Primary School: help our neighbors in Thika

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 93 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $430 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Tools hire and delivery: $30 Thanks for reading all this. - Nyambura
