A youth football pitch for Acacia Park: help our neighbors in Stockholm
Volunteers in Stockholm are raising $1,950 for a youth football pitch at Acacia Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,950.
It will serve about 400 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Materials: $1,150
• Permits and inspections: $145
• Safety equipment and signage: $340
• Tools hire and delivery: $315
